(Oakland Park, FL) – This fall, Funky Buddha Brewery will be releasing Bourbon Barrel-Aged Save Room For Later, a 10.5 percent ABV imperial brown ale brewed with both with both chocolate and coconut before being aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months.
As the name indicates, the base beer is the Oakland Park, Fla.-based brewery’s Save Room For Later (8.8 percent ABV) which is also scheduled to be released in September.
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Save Room For Later will be the latest edition in Funky Buddha’s Living Barrel Series, which is made up of beers aged in various types of barrels and packaged in 22-ounce bottles.
The Bourbon Barrel-Aged Save Room For Later will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($20) that are scheduled to be released exclusively at the brewery in September.
