Nine Pin Cider to host fourth annual Gathering of the Farm Cideries on Feb. 17

(Albany, NY) Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York’s first farm cidery, will host the fourth annual Gathering of the Farm Cideries on Saturday, Feb. 17 at its cidery in Albany’s warehouse district.

“We’re proud to continue this ongoing tradition of gathering New York’s farm cideries for an exciting, educational, tasting and market cider experience that can only be found in our great State,” said Alejandro del Peral, co-founder and cider maker.

This event – broken into two sessions beginning at 12 noon and 4 p.m., respectively – will be the largest gathering of New York licensed farm cideries that the Empire State has ever seen. Nine Pin will play host to 16 other New York’s farm cideries including:

+ Saratoga Apple Hard Cider (Schuylerville, NY)

+ St. Lawrence Cider (Kaneb Orchards) (Massena, NY)

The cideries will provide information about cider making and complimentary samples of their unique ciders. Attendees will also have the opportunity to stock their own cider cellars by purchasing these specialty ciders to go.
