Angry Horse Brewing Releases IPA in Cans

In Beer News by BT

MONTEBELLO, Calif. – Angry Horse Brewing is thrilled to announce that Saturday, June 30th, 2018 marks the brewery’s first can release. Just in time for a hot summer, our flagship IPA will be available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans to take with you wherever you go.

East LA IPA is a 7.2% ABV, traditional American India Pale Ale that has a citrusy backbone. The mixture of malts are slightly sweet and balances out it’s medium body. The quadruple combination of hops gives it a floral and piney character that pairs well with spicy dishes and carrot cake.

The release of East LA IPA is a milestone for Angry Horse Brewing. “Angry Horse has put together an amazing team and to be part of the first can release is something special” says Lead Brewer, Derek Bougie. As Montebello’s neighborhood brewery, the release of East LA IPA is our tribute to a community that we now call home. “It was one of the first four beer on tap on opening day and has become a local favorite. We’re excited to have it as our first can release”, says President, Nathan McCusker.

Cans will be sold out of the taproom with future plans to distribute to Los Angeles County.
