(Miami, FL) — This June, J. Wakefield Brewing will be launching an annual, home brew competition, Summertime & the Brewin’ is Easy. Local home brewers will compete for a chance to brew their creation at JWB brewery and have it packaged.
20 home brewers have been selected to compete in the contest, which will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from noon-4:00 p.m. Each will pour two styles of beer that they brewed for a panel of judges, including members of the JWB brew team.
The “Judges’ Choice” winner will have a chance to scale up their winning recipe and brew it in JWB’s 15 barrel production brewhouse with an opportunity to have their beer packaged. There will also be a “People’s Choice” category, voted on, by guests in attendance.
